Ep. 043 | Paranoia or Pursuit? The Disappearance of Lars Mittank
Lars Mittank was a 28-year-old German man who mysteriously disappeared in July 2014 while vacationing in Varna, Bulgaria. After suffering a minor ear injury in a fight, he was advised by a doctor not to fly home immediately, prompting his friends to return without him. Over the next few days, Lars began exhibiting increasingly paranoid behavior, claiming he was being followed and expressing fear for his life. On the day he was scheduled to fly home, he abruptly fled Varna Airport on foot, leaving behind his luggage and disappearing into a nearby forest. Despite international attention and numerous theories, including possible mental health issues or foul play, his case remains unsolved, making it one of the most puzzling missing person cases in recent years.
