Ep. 034 - 037 | One by One: Taking Down the Killers of Dan Markel

In this four-part deep dive, we tell you the story of how a teacher, a dentist, a young mother, a gang member, a hitman, and maybe an attorney, all allegedly conspired to murder an intelligent, successful, and loving young father who had his whole life ahead of him. 41-year-old Dan Markel was shot execution-style in his driveway by two hired hitmen, but the investigation into who paid them to commit the crime led investigators to Dan’s ex-brother-in-law, Charlie Adelson, and ex-mother-in-law, Donna Adelson. Charlie has been convicted for his crimes against Dan Markel, and Donna is set to stand trial in summer of 2025. So far, police have arrested five co-conspirators, one by one… but are there more arrests to come?
